These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Stoic Diary website and application ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms
1. Service Description
Stoic Diary is an online service for goal planning, daily reflection, statistics, Life Calendar, and diary export. Free access includes core app access for today and the previous 6 days. Future Daily Plan and Diary dates may be available where supported. Older past in-app archive views may require Pro. Life Calendar and JSON export from Profile remain available without Pro
2. Registration, Account, and Security
Access to the Service is provided through Google login or email one-time password login. Some sensitive actions, including JSON data export and account deletion, may require an email OTP. You are responsible for maintaining control of your Google account and email inbox. Stoic Diary is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from loss of control over those accounts
3. Subscription and Payment
Pro provides full past in-app archive/history, long-term or custom statistics where supported, longer or full-history diary PDF export, and support for independent app development. Monthly Pro is $3.99/month as a recurring subscription. Yearly Pro is $19/year as a recurring subscription. Lifetime Pro is a $49 one-time purchase for Pro features while Stoic Diary is available; it is not recurring and does not promise that the product will exist forever. Prices may change for future purchases. Paddle handles checkout and payment processing and may show its own legal or payment terms. Recurring subscriptions can be canceled through the Paddle or payment-provider flow, or through support where available. Pro access follows Paddle and app subscription status and may end when Paddle reports cancellation, pause, or payment failure
4. User Content and Privacy
Your diary, plans, templates, ratings, goals, and Life Calendar settings remain your data. A JSON export is available from Profile without Pro. Pro sells convenient in-app archive, statistics, and PDF access; it does not sell ownership of your data. Content fields are encrypted at rest where implemented, and access is limited to what is necessary to operate, secure, and support the Service or comply with law
5. Use of Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies and similar storage for authentication, sessions, culture settings, Paddle checkout context, local draft or UI state where used, and normal operation. Public landing pages may load Google Analytics on English pages and Yandex Metrica on Russian pages. Authenticated app pages do not intentionally load those public analytics scripts. Disabling cookies may limit the availability of certain features
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may change, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service. Stoic Diary is a personal reflection tool and does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. The developer is not liable for any indirect damages arising from the use of the Service
7. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will become effective upon publication on the website or within the app
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Any disputes related to the use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan
9. Refund Policy
Stoic Diary can be used for free. Pro is optional paid access for full archive access, long-term statistics, and diary PDF export
If you purchased Pro and are not satisfied, you may request a refund within 14 days of payment. Please contact us at anatoly.sorokin.business@gmail.com
Refunds are processed via the payment provider used. Once the refund is issued, access to paid features will be revoked
